Bruno Fernandes has been named Premier League Player of the Month for November, putting him just one accolade behind Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo.

Fernandes has been a revelation since signing from Sporting Lisbon for £47million in late January, and in his 11 months at Old Trafford he has already been named Premier League Player of the Month a remarkable three times.

During his blistering spell in English football Ronaldo was awarded the honour on four occasions, meaning Fernandes is rapidly closing in on his record achievement.

It was a twofold Portuguese win in November, with Tottenham supervisor Jose Mourinho winning Manager of the Month.

During the month Fernandes enlisted four objectives for United from four Premier League matches, including a great support against Everton to rouse a 3-1 rebound triumph over Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

In his ten Premier League appearances this season up until now, Fernandes has seven objectives and four helps to his name.

The 26-year-old is hoarding stunning figures for the Red Devils, and however United neglected to advance from the gathering phases of the Champions League he actually recorded four objectives and an aid six matches.

Altogether Fernandes has 24 Premier League appearances to his name, with 15 objectives and 11 helps.
