The RB Leipzig defender has a £38million release clause starting this summer
Bayern Munich held a secret meeting with the representatives of RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano on Thursday, according to new information from Germany.
The highly-rated French defender is available for just £38million this summer due to a release clause in the player’s contract, with Bayern one of several top clubs across Europe interested in his signature.
Bayern chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confirmed the club’s interest earlier this month but German news outlet BILD claims there was a secret meeting between the Bundesliga giants and Upamecano’s agents from Sports360.
